"Designs are best worked out in a team" - a simple thought that led to the inception of co_LAB Design Studio. We aim to be a collaborative design practice trying out new ways to perform and deliver an exquisite design.

At co_LAB, we believe that designing is a truly collaborative process which emerges from dialogues between the designers and the clients, that is carefully processed and executed by the craftsman with his pack of skills. The quality of design depends upon the quality of conversation in its making.

Lead by Ar. Gaurang Tajne and Ar. Rutuja Desai, co_Lab Design Studio is an innovative Interior and Architecture Design firm based in Mumbai. 

With a practice rooted in simplicity, functionality, and thoughtful design, the studio specialises in High-End Residential Interiors while also transforming Commercial Spaces, Villas, and Multi-functional facilities.

At co_LAB, we go by the motto that good design is always simple and that it ought to stimulate. In our opinion, every project is unique and requires a specific design solution, sensitive to its context. 

The curiosity of learning and joy of creating is what got us engaged in this profession. Fascinated by things that stand out but not losing an eye for the little things that are sober and subtle in their place derives our design process.
