About Us

Lead by Ar. Gaurang Tajne and Ar. Rutuja Desai, co_Lab Design Studio is an innovative Interior and Architecture Design firm based in Mumbai.

With a practice rooted in simplicity, functionality, and thoughtful design, the studio specialises in High-End Residential Interiors while also transforming Commercial Spaces, Villas, and Multi-functional facilities.

Our consultancy offers tailored strategies, ensuring each project reflects your unique vision while maintaining timeless appeal and practical efficiency.

Site Analysis: Conducting a detailed site visit and preparing a comprehensive site report.

Conceptualization: Developing conceptual plans and block-cost estimates.

Design Development: Creating schematic designs, preparing a mood board, discussing terms and conditions, and signing the contract.

Finalization: Selecting materials and finalizing design elevations.

Visualization: Producing 3D visualizations once layouts are confirmed.

Estimation and Timeline: Preparing a detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for items within our scope and outlining a structured timeline.

Detail Drawings: Preparing precise working drawings and details for project execution (excluding structural drawings).

Coordination: Managing vendor and contractor interactions, recommending a single point of contact for smoother collaboration.

Supervision: Conducting periodic site visits, typically on a pre-decided day each week.

Documentation: Capturing detailed Site photographs on handover.

Turnkey Contracting

Our turnkey contracting service delivers end-to-end solutions, ensuring each project embodies your unique vision while achieving impeccable quality, seamless execution, and timeless appeal.

Site Setup & Permissions: Ensuring site readiness with power, water supply, and storage arrangements, while assisting the client in securing necessary permissions and documentation.

Civil Work: Demolition, brickwork, and floor leveling as required.

Electrical & Plumbing: Concealed wiring, switchboard installations, and plumbing lines for kitchens and bathrooms.

False Ceiling & POP Work: Creating ceiling designs, cornices, and decorative moldings.

Flooring: Laying tiles, granite, marble, or wooden flooring with proper leveling.

Wall Finishes: Painting, wallpaper application, and texture finishes.

Carpentry & Modular Work: Installing wardrobes, kitchen units, and custom furniture.

Metal & Glass Work: Fabricating railings, partitions, and decorative elements.

Progress & Billing: Providing detailed BOQ, issuing running bills, and offering regular site updates to keep clients informed.

Final Handover: Deep cleaning, quality inspection, and photo documentation.
